Routine Cleaning
- Accessing the Pre-Filter:
- Locate the pre-filter on the hose.
- Preparation:
- Enter Maintenance Mode: This can be done directly from the Chiller's settings menu or via the Ice Barrel App.
- Water Shutoff: Locate the quick-connect water valves on the top and bottom bulkheads of the Ice Barrel. Shut these valves to stop water flow.
- Cleaning:
- Remove the pre-filter by turning it counterclockwise by hand.
- Rinse the pre-filter under running water and use a soft-bristled brush if needed to remove any buildup.
- Shake off excess water and ensure the pre-filter is clean and debris-free before reinstalling.
- Reinstallation:
- Reinsert the pre-filter gasket, screen and clear plastic housing by hand, ensuring it is properly seated and secure.
- Restoring Operations:
- Open Water Valves: Open both bulkhead valves to allow water flow and exit Maintenance Mode, resuming normal operations.
