Menu Access & Overview

Accessing the Main Menu

  • Press and hold the control wheel for three seconds to bring up the main menu. From here, you can manage various Chiller functions, including scheduling sessions, reviewing notifications, and updating user settings.Screenshot 2024-07-26 at 12.57.29 AM.png

Menu Items and Their Functions

  • Chiller Mode Control

    • Switch between energy-efficient SmartSense mode and active Cooling mode.
    • Initiate Cooling mode to temporarily suspend scheduled sessions and prioritize immediate temperature needs.

  • Chiller Temperature Set Point Adjustment

    • Navigate to the Temperature menu.
    • Rotate the control wheel to set your preferred temperature.
    • Confirm your selection to set the temperature.

  • Scheduling

    • Access the Schedule section to view or modify your cooling routine.
    • Set up a new schedule or modify existing ones directly on the Chiller.
    • Advanced scheduling options are available through the Ice Barrel App (coming soon).

  • Notifications Center

    • Review alerts and notifications.
    • Explore details of each notification with options to take action or dismiss.
    • Notifications sync between the Chiller and the app for consistent updates (coming soon).

  • Settings

      • Maintenance Mode

        • Navigate to 'Maintenance' in the settings menu to activate this mode, ideal for tasks like water filter changes.
        • Maintenance mode halts all Chiller operations, indicated on the home screen for clarity.
        • Confirm activation of maintenance mode to perform specific maintenance tasks.

      • Get Help

        • Navigate to 'Get Help' in the settings menu to scan a QR code, leading to comprehensive online support documents.
        • Search for guidance on specific topics or troubleshooting issues within the support portal.
        • In-app notifications relevant to current issues will include direct links to the Get Help section (coming soon).

      • Wi-Fi

        • View or change your current network settings.
        • Follow in-app instructions to complete Wi-Fi setup.

      • Date & Time

        • Automatically syncs with the cloud when connected to Wi-Fi.
        • Manually adjust date and time settings as needed.

      • Chiller Location

        • Optimize performance by setting the Chiller's location to either indoor or outdoor.

      • Equipment

        • Inform the system of the specific unit it's paired with for precise performance calibration.
        • Update the Equipment setting if the attached equipment changes.

      • Temperature

        • Toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit displays.

      • About Chiller

        • View detailed information about the Chiller, including software version, serial number, and model number.

      • Factory Reset

        • Revert the Chiller to its original state, erasing all data, including scheduled sessions, user preferences, and connected accounts.
        • Complete the reset process in the Ice Barrel App to remove the Chiller from your account.
